Student artists can develop a deep sense of identity, belonging, and agency when social emotional learning is intentionally embedded into arts education. This 90-minute workshop will offer arts educators and administrators the opportunity to intentionally implement elements of CRAE strategies aligned to SEL competencies supporting instruction that assists student in connecting their creativity to skills.

Participants will be able to work collaboratively to implement elements to maximize the impact of arts-based instruction to celebrate student choice connected building content skills. Join us to learn about resources and key principles that will help you to cultivate conditions for social emotional learning and culturally responsive arts education.
