Vernon High School Inducts Students into Art Honor Society


Twenty-one students were recently inducted into the Vernon Township High School Chapter of the National Art Honor Society.  The ceremony was presided over by Aileen Bancroft, president, Allie Hansen, vice president and Tara Cartier, secretary/treasurer.

Senior artists inducted were:  Michaela Ambuter, Klarissa Burwell, Corinne Chiarchiaro, Megan DeVries, Brooke Graniere, Megan Kennedy, Heather Morris, Megan Phillips, Lillian Schafer, Peter Thomsen and Alison Turner.

Junior artists inducted were:  Abigail Budz, Madison Lutchko, Alexis O’Connell, Zoe Smolder, Samantha Struble and Daneille Ward.

Sophomore artists inducted were:  Samantha Annunziata, Sarah Dettloff, Joanna Horn, and Nathaniel Nunez.

Art students from Vernon Township High School exhibit their work in many venues throughout the school year, including “Art Start” at William Paterson University, Sussex County Teen Arts Festival at SCCC and five high school invitationals.
